The Catalan midfielder joins Villarreal Women to strengthen the midfield
Villarreal CF have reached an agreement to sign midfielder María Llompart, who will play for Villarreal Women until 2024. The Catalan footballer joins as a free agent after playing for SD Eibar for the last two seasons.
Quality in midfield for Villarreal Women
María Llompart Pons (19/10/2000) is a young footballer who will bring a lot of intensity and quality to the middle of the pitch for Sara Monforte’s side. The midfielder previously played for FC Barcelona, RCD Espanyol and Levante Las Planas.
Llompart represented Spain at youth level, being crowned European U19 champion.
The Catalan footballer is Villarreal Women’s fourth season ahead of their second season in the top flight of Spanish women’s football, after Lucía Gómez, Fatou Kanteh and Rocío García.
