Nearly 12,000 people enjoy the impressive opening ceremony at the Estadio de la Cerámica
An impressive presentation. The Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter is now ready for football to kick off across the 12 venues and the six towns in our province that are hosting this prestigious tournament driven by the Yellow Submarine. Nearly 12,000 people have enjoyed the spectacular opening event held at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
To mark the opening ceremony, players, coaches and families gathered in the stands of the Yellow Submarine’s home to welcome one of the most important youth football competitions in our country during Easter. As usual, the participants paraded on the pitch at the Estadio de la Cerámica and posed for a massive family photo. As if that were not enough, this year attendees had the chance to hear a welcome message from first-team player and former tournament participant Pau Navarro, as well as from club legend and current ambassador Marcos Senna.
Words from two important figures that were accompanied by a performance from saxophonist Ian Ferrando, the presence of Groguet and a small fireworks display to close the ceremony. Let the show begin!
