Supporters can register until Friday to take part in the charity event on 15th June
Villarreal CF and the penya Celtic Submarí are finalising preparations for the Fiesta de la Afición and the XI Cursa Solidària Celtic Submarí, which will take place on Saturday 15th June at the Estadio de la Cerámica. Fans wishing to sign up for the race must register before 7pm on Friday 7th June.
The race, which starts and finishes at the Estadio de la Cerámica, consists of a beautiful 6-kilometre route through the streets of Vila-real. It can be run individually or in pairs, starting at 8pm. The entry fee is 7 euros, the minimum age for participation is 14 years old and all proceeds will go to ASPANION Niños con Cáncer (ASPANION Children with Cancer). The race is part of the Circuit de Carreres Populars de Vila-real.
In addition, this season, there will also be a small 2.5 kilometre charity walk, with no age restrictions, which will start at 7pm and the registration fee is only 6 euros: RULES AND REGULATIONS
A big party at La Cerámica
The charity event is one of the main attractions of the Fan Fest, which is free and open to the public, and is being held for the second year running after the great success of last season, when it was one of the star activities of the Centenari Groguet, the club’s centenary
This great party, promoted by Villarreal CF in collaboration with the Peña Celtic Submarí, will open its doors at 5:30pm and will feature live music, inflatables, games, as well as food and drink bars. In addition, the event will be a charity event and the proceeds will go to ASPANION (Asociación de Padres de Niños con Cáncer de la Comunitat Valenciana (Association of Parents of Children with Cancer of the Region of Valencia). Last season, a total amount of €28,432 was generated, which the club donated in full to this association with which it collaborates through Endavant Solidaritat.
The club will open the doors of the most exclusive corners of the Estadio de la Cerámica so that fans can get to know some of the most emblematic areas of the stadium, such as the home dressing room or the VIP Box.
In addition to the games and inflatables installed on the pitch for the little ones to have fun, there will also be live concerts. Villarreal CF will set up a stage for local groups Crancs and Los Indios to perform, starting at 7:15pm, and set the scene with their repertoire at a party where there will be bars, where food and drink will be available for purchase, and the proceeds of which will go to benefit ASPANION.
