The Valencian group have won the fifth final of the competition and will perform at the 2025 SanSan Festival
La Pelona have won the fifth edition of the Villarreal CF music competition and will perform at the SanSan Festival in Benicàssim. The Valencian group will open the prestigious indie festival on Thursday 17th April at 6pm CEST on the Calaverita Records stage.
The finalist groups, Ander Troys, Mi lado rebelde soleado and La Pelona, put on a brilliant show, thrilling the fans in the run-up to the match against Athletic Club.
The jury for the grand final was made up of Miriam Caravaca, Vila-real councillor for festivals; Christian Castro, business and artistic development at Sonde3; and Paloma Masó, head of the Endavant programme; who decided the winner of the competition.
Groc Talent, Villarreal CF’s musical competition to promote talent in the province of Castellón
Groc Talent is a music competition, promoted by Villarreal CF and in collaboration with the SanSan Festival and Vila-real Town Council. This initiative, part of Endavant Cultura, aims to raise awareness of the musical artists of our province, giving them the opportunity to make themselves known in an exceptional setting such as the Fan Zone of the Estadio de la Cerámica, during the run-up to LALIGA EA Sports matches at the stadium.
La Pelona joins the golden list of Groc Talent winners, which also includes Red Smoke, Valiente Bosque, La Aldea and Pasqual Riera.
