The fans will chose the new emblem which Villarreal CF will wear on their shirt from the match against Real Sociedad
Villarreal CF wants to pay tribute to its town, Vila-real, and involve its fans by encouraging them to choose a special badge to incorporate into the Yellow Submarine’s playing shirt, which they can also wear by buying an official shirt for this season or by adding it to the one they already have.
With this campaign, christened La nostra vila (Our town), Villarreal fans, especially those from the town of Vila-real, proud to be from there, will be able to decide which of the three logos presented by the club will be worn by the first team from Sunday 20th April against Real Sociedad and for the rest of the matches played until the end of the season.
Villarreal CF has prepared three unique designs, linked to emblematic places in the town, so that its fans will be the ones to decide which special patch will be incorporated into the playing shirt.
1. Gent de la Nostra Vila. The logo incorporates the frase from the official Villarreal CF anthem ‘Gent de la nostra vila’ (People of our town), accompanied by the silhouette of the Termet bridge and the representation of the Incorpora en el logo la frase del himno oficial del Villarreal CF Gent de la nostra vila, acompañado de la silueta del puente del Termet y la representación simbólica del paso del río Millars
2. De la Plana, del Millars. An image of the Termet bridge alongside the phrase from the official Villarreal CF anthem ‘De la Plana, del Millars0 (from La Plana, from the Mijares river).
3. Termet: Refers to the setting of the Termet, showing the Mijares river going through Vila-real.
Fans can now vote for their favourite emblem, by registering on and accessing the Villarreal CFwebsite. Voting will be open until until Thursday 17th April, three days before the home match against Real Sociedad.
Get your shirt with the emblem!
Supporters who buy any of the official game shirts from Sunday 20th April, the day of the match against Real Sociedad, will be able to incorporate this special badge free of charge on the back of the shirt, while those who have previously purchased any of the three official shirts for the current 2024/25 campaign can go to the shop and for just 2 euros can wear the official patch in honour of the town.
