Fran Escribá calls out to fans for this Friday’s clash against Athletic Club
In today’s press conference, Villarreal Manager, Fran Escribá, highlighted the importance of this Friday’s fixture against Athletic Club (8:45pm CET, Estadio de la Cerámica): “It is a match that is just as important as those against Real Madrid or FC Barcelona”. Not surprisingly, the Manager has called out to fans to “win the game played in the stands” in order to help the Submarine win the “vital” match against the Basque side, who Escribá defined as “a dangerous team that is in good form at the moment”.
