Pacheta is full of praise for his players after the effort they put in to draw against Getafe
Villarreal CF head coach José Rojo Martín ‘Pacheta’ was full of praise for his players after their tremendous effort to earn a point against Getafe with a player down from the 23rd minute onwards (0-0). “We put in a truly fantastic team performance. We were as solid as we wanted to be. The whole team was hard-working, focused and intense. As a head coach, this match makes me very proud,” he commented.
For Pacheta, Villarreal are becoming more and more solid: “We suffered a lot of side crosses, but we were very concentrated in the box. The attackers were always marked. We were very good in the area and Filip had a magnificent performance. In the end, we also had our chance with Ben. I’m satisfied with what we did today. We didn’t concede a goal and we were solid. Finally, Pacheta said that he always wants to win, but that this point is very good after what happened: “We played 65 minutes with one less.
