Villarreal Manager, Fran Escribá, praises his team’s effort against Sevilla at El Madrigal stadium
Fran Escribá was satisfied with the image the team gave tonight against Sevilla depite not getting the three points. “I’m really satisfied because we created chances. We had a great goalkeeper in front of us and I think we were very close to winning it. We didn’t let Sevilla créate danger and this shows the team put in a great performance”.
As the Villarreal Manager you have to have patience with the team, who are improving bit by bit: “I would like us to be patient with the team. I’m very grateful for the support from the fans and I’m sure in no time we’ll see the Villarreal side we all want”.
The league break for international football lets the Submarine train more relaxed. “We’ve done eleven sessions with the team and almost all have been pre or post-match. Now we have two week to work on tactical concepts so the team can keep improving”.
