Groc Talent confirms its participants for the fifth edition

The music competition promoted by Villarreal CF and the SanSan Festival will feature 12 performances throughout the season

The participants of Groc Talent have now been announced. This successful music competition, promoted by Villarreal CF in collaboration with the SanSan Festival and Vila-real Town Council, celebrates its fifth edition this season, in which 12 bands and artists from the province of Castellón and the greater Region of Valencia will perform. All of them will fight to fulfil their dream of singing live at the prestigious indie music festival held every year in Benicàssim.

As in previous editions of Groc Talent, through this innovative initiative which is part of the yellow club’s Endavant Cultura corporate social responsibility programme, musical groups from our province will perform before the Submarine’s home matches outside the Estadio de la Cerámica.

The music competition will kick off this Sunday before the match against FC Barcelona (6:30pm CEST) with a performance by the group Ander Toys.

The schedule for Groc Talent performances is as follows:

• Ander Toys: Villarreal CF vs FC Barcelona (Sunday 22^nd September)
• Barrea: Villarreal CF vs UD Las Palmas (30^th September)
• Cálmese Señora: Villarreal CF vs Getafe CF (Sunday 20^th October)
• Capitán Ludd: Villarreal CF vs Rayo Vallecano (1^st to 4^th November – exact date TBC)
• Edgar Allan Pop: Villarreal CF vs Deportivo Alavés (8^th to 11^th November – exact date TBC)
• Filibert: Villarreal CF vs Girona FC (29^th November to 2^nd December – exact date TBC)
• Huracán Romántica: Villarreal vs Real Betis (13^th to 16^th December – exact date TBC)
• Jon Lost: Villarreal vs Real Mallorca (17^th to 20^th January – exact date TBC)
• La Pelona: Villarreal CF vs Real Valladolid (31^st January to 3^rd February – exact date TBC)
• Mi lado rebelde soleado: Villarreal CF vs Valencia CF (14^th to 17^th February – exact date TBC)
• Proxima: Villarreal CF vs RCD Espanyol (28^th February to 2^nd March – exact date TBC)
• Trofeo: Villarreal CF vs Real Madrid (14^th to 17^th March – exact date TBC)

Voting system

From the Monday following the performance (from 12pm CEST), fans will be able to rate the performances on the club’s website. And the three participants with the highest scores will get their ticket to the grand final. This unmissable event will take place on 5^th or 6^th April (venue to be confirmed). A professional jury will decide which band is the winner of the fifth edition and, consequently, will perform at the festival.

To date, Red Smoke, Valiente Bosque, La Aldea and Pasqual Riera have been the winning bands of the four previous editions of Groc Talent.
