Fans went to the Estadio de la Cerámica to take part in our donation initiative
The Give Blood campaign has once more been a success among Villarreal fans. As always, Yellows have shown their support to the initiative, going to the Estadio de la Cerámica to donate blood. It is an initiative within the Endavant Solidaritat project, and was supported by Frost-trol, official sponsor of the club.
The donation, which took place below the Preferencia stand, was graced with the presence of former player and current Villarreal CF Institutional Relations Department member Marcos Senna, and Blood Donation Manager for the Comunidad Valeniciana Tranfusion Centre (CTCV), Roberto Roig. To thank those who gave blood, the club gave each fan who took part two tickets for a Villarreal CF match.
CTCV and Villarreal CF have worked together since 2002. In these 17 years of co-operation between both entities, a total of a 7,500 units, which have helped for blood transfusions and hemoderivatives across the autonomous community.
