Fans must access the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground via the CEM
Villarreal B will host CD Guadalajara in a pre-season friendly this Saturday 9th August at 6:30pm CEST at the Mini Estadi, located at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground. The Mini Submarine’s match against the team from Castilla-La Mancha will be free to attend for all fans, with no need to present a 2025/26 season ticket. Access for supporters wishing to attend will be exclusively via the CEM Pau Francisco Torres, with the gates to the Mini Estadi opening at 5pm.
Fifth pre-season test
David Albelda’s Mini Submarine will take on CD Guadalajara, who will compete next season in Group 1 of Primera Federación. The fixture was originally scheduled to take place at the Pedro Escartín Stadium, but both clubs have agreed to play it in Vila-real instead. As a point of interest, the visitors are managed by a familiar face for Villarreal CF: former Yellow and ex-Groguet Academy coach Pere Martí.
So far, the Groguets have played three friendlies. They opened pre-season with a 5-0 win against CD Castellón B, before losing their next two matches: 2-3 against Hércules CF in Campoamor, and 5-0 against Segunda División side Albacete Balompié at the Ciudad Deportiva Andrés Iniesta.
Before facing the Alcarreños, the Yellows’ B team will visit CD Teruel — who will share a group with Villarreal B in Primera Federación — this Wednesday at 8pm CEST at the Estadio Pinilla in the capital of Teruel.
