Four players called up for the Africa Cup of Nations

Samu Chukwueze, Aïssa Mandi, Serge Aurier and Boulaye Dia will represent their countries in the international tournament

Four Villarreal CF players have been called up by their countries for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. Samu Chukwueze (Nigeria), Aïssa Mandi (Algeria), Serge Aurier (Côte d’Ivoire) and Boulaye Dia (Senegal) in the coming day will travel to their countries to join their national teams in this important international tournament, which will take place from 9^th January to 6^th February in Cameroon.

The matches that Villarreal CF players will be involved in during the Africa Cup of Nations are, in the group stage, the following (time CET):

Samu Chukwueze (Nigeria)

• Nigeria vs Egypt: Tuesday 11^th January, 5pm, Roumdé Adjia Stadium.
• Nigeria vs Sudan: Saturday 15^th January, 5pm, Roumdé Adjia Stadium.
• Guinea-Bissau vs Nigeria: Wednesday 19^th January, 8pm, Roumdé Adjia Stadium.

Aïssa Mandi (Algeria)
