The Villarreal CF Training Ground will host the Trofeu Teika, in which Villarreal Women, Valencia Women and Levante Women will take part
Vending machine Company Teika, the leading sponsor of women’s sport in the Region of Valencia, this afternoon presented the first edition of the Trofeu Teika at their offices in the Europa Building in Valencia. The teams taking part in the tournament will be Villarreal Women, Valencia Women and Levante Women; three teams sponsored by Teika since 2017.
The event was attended by Zaïra Flores, Villarreal Women player; Marta Carro, Valencia CF player; and Carol Férez, Levante UD player; Berti Barber, Teika marketing director; Puri Naya, Teika communication director; as well as representatives from the three clubs ini the Region of Valencia.
The Trofeu Teika will take part on Friday 27th August, at the Mini Estadi at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva). In the presentation event, the draw to determine the order of the games also took place. Sara Monforte’s side will be involved in the first two games, against Levante UD and Valencia CF.
The kick-off times for the games (45 minutes each) are as follows:
7pm CEST: Villarreal Women vs Levante Women
8pm CEST: Valencia Women vs Villarreal Women
9pm CEST: Levante Women vs Valencia Women
An exciting tournament
Yellows midfielder Zaïra Flores underlined that the triangular tournament is “a very exciting tournament as we are playing it at home. We’re also playing against two teams that have been at a high level for a long time, so we can’t wait to compete, and enjoy it.”

To attend the summer tournament, fans will need to register via the Teika website. The number of tickets allowed on sale will depend on local guidelines from healthcare authorities.
