The Vila-real head coach expects a very tough match against CE Europa (Sunday, 12pm)
Villarreal Women head coach Jordi Ferriols spoke to V Play to analyse the build-up to the match against CE Europa, which will be played at the Nou Sardenya on Sunday at 12pm.
Team’s feelings
“The feelings are good. Against Valencia, it is true that they levelled the score, but the first half was very good. Villarreal were very recognisable, the team that we are. The team is aware of the objective and we are going for it.”
Great experience at the Mini Estadi against Valencia
“We knew we were expecting a lot of people. It is always important to have the support of the fans and we hope they accompany us even more, because it always helps. Having experiences like that, where you can feel the support of your fans, made it a very special match.”
Next opponents: CE Europa
“I expect a very tough match. The Nou Sardenya is a difficult ground. I expect a team with a clear identity, to be honest. It is a team with a lot of personality and, what’s more, they arrive with a lot of need. They are also a very hard-working team who try to be vertical in their transitions or even create overloads out wide to try to get a lot of players in the box. But we are also fighting for a very difficult and very beautiful objective. All matches are difficult, but we are going there determined to take the victory.”
