The Villarreal CF Supporters’ Association presented the accolades to the players ahead of the match against Sevilla FC
The Villarreal CF Supporters’ Association (Agrupació de Penyes del Villarreal) presented four awards to the most outstanding players of the season on behalf of the fans during the build-up to the final match of the campaign against Sevilla FC.
Ayoze Pérez received the award for the team’s top goalscorer, while Álex Baena was named Player of the Season. The Breakthrough Player award went to Sergi Cardona. Lastly, Raúl Albiol was honoured by the APV in recognition of his remarkable and successful career with the Yellow Submarine.
