The attacker from Extremadura signs her contract with Villarreal Women’s team
Villarreal CF and Estefanía Lima Díaz (11/05/1989, Badajoz) have reached a renewal agreement so that the striker from Extremadura will continue to wear the ‘grogueta’ shirt next season. As a result, Estefa Lima will remain linked to Villarreal CF until 30 June 2023, with the option to extend her contract for another season.
The attacker joined Villarreal Women this season, bringing with her great vision and danger in the attacking area. In her first season as a ‘grogueta’, Estefa has played 26 games, starting 16 of them, and has managed to score 2 goals.
The attacker from Extremadura becomes the fourteenth Villarreal Women’s player for the 2022/23 season. Estefa Lima is joined by Tere Morató, Sheila Guijarro, Lara Mata, Irene Miguélez, Vera Rico, Elena de Toro, Belén Martínez, Yenifer Giménez, María Cienfuegos, Paola Soldevila, Nerea Pérez, Pancha Lara and Ainoa Campo.
