The Villarreal CF Manager was satisified after the victory against Real Betis
“The best match we’ve played so far this season”. This was how Villarreal Manager, Fran Escribá, described his side’s spectacular performance against Real Betis at the Estadio de la Cerámica. The Manager was full of praise for his players: “It was hard to go a goal down, but the team had a great game. It’s the best we’ve played”.
For Escribá, the intensity shown by his players was key: “We played to a high intensity. Despite the difficulty, we gave our all throughout and never gave up”.
Now, the Yellows boss is waiting on getting more players back from injury for the upcoming matches. “If we are aggressive and intense we will be the team we want to be. Now it will be crucial to get players back as we head into a very intense 21 days”, he concluded.
