Villarreal Women will face the side from Castile-La Mancha in the first round of the competition, to be played between 9th and 11th September
Villarreal Women have been drawn against CD Alba Fundación Femenino in the first round of the 2025/26 Copa de la Reina. The draw took place this Wednesday at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas.
The first-round ties will be single-leg fixtures, taking place on 9th, 10th and 11th September.
The Yellow Submarine will play their game at home at the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza, with the exact date and time still to be confirmed.
The clash will also bring several reunions. Alba María López “Albeta”, who came through the Yellows Academy, will face her former club, where she played last season after a short spell away from Vila-real. In addition, former Villarreal Women head coach Virginia García will return in charge of CD Alba.
