The forward from Granada leaves the Yellows after ten years with the club
Diego Collado ends his time at Villarreal CF after a decade with the club and moves to Gil Vicente Futebol Clube (Portugal).
A decade as a Yellow
Collado joined the Yellow Submarine at the age of 12 from Granada 74 and leaves the club having fulfilled his dream of making his debut in professional football. The forward from Granada has been a member of the Villarreal B squad for the last two seasons in the second tier of Spanish football, making 69 appearances and scoring six goals and five assists.
He also made his debut with the first team in an official match on 12th November 2022 against Santa Amalia (Copa del Rey). Subsequently, on 22nd January 2023, he had the opportunity to make his debut in LALIGA.
