    The Valencian coach will take charge of the Mini Submarine for the 2025/26 season

    Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with David Albelda for him to become the head coach of Villarreal B from the 2025/26 season onwards.

    David Albelda (Pobla Llarga, 1st September 1977) steps up to lead the Mini Submarine after a season and a half in charge of Villarreal C, where he achieved excellent results. This season, the Yellows’ second reserve team finished sixth in Group VI of Tercera RFEF.

    As a player, the Valencian also wore the Villarreal CF shirt for two seasons (1996/97 and 1998/99)
