Villarreal CF’s Spanish-Russian midfielder is happy to be back playing
Villarreal CF’s Spanish-Russian midfielder, Denis Cheryshev, got back to play last Sunday against Sevilla FC. The Yellows number 7 had not played since the first leg of the Round of 32 of the Copa del Rey against CD Toledo at the Salto de Caballo stadium. Cheryshev could not hide his satisfaction and assured that he wants to give the best of himself to the Yellows fans: “I feel very loved by the fans and the only thing I want to do is bring them enjoyment and show them the best of me. I’m giving my all to make that happen”.
Cheryshev also analyzed the Yellows’ current situation, as Villarreal CF will play three matches in a period of seven days (Málaga CF, AS Roma y Real Sociedad): “A stage of very important games is coming up that can determine the season”. However, the midfielder knows that they have to take it game by game: “Now we just have to think about Málaga”.
