The LALIGA Genuine champions were welcomed by the mayor, visited Inmersión Villarreal and had lunch at El Ceramista
Villarreal’s team with intellectual disabilities (EDI) celebrated their recent triumph as champions of the Compañerismo Group in LALIGA Genuine this Tuesday. Accompanied by club ambassador Marcos Senna, players from the different EDI teams and their coaches visited the concert hall in Vila-real at midday, where they were warmly welcomed by the town’s mayor, José Benlloch.
Later in the day, the Yellows delegation visited the Estadio de la Cerámica to experience Inmersión Villarreal. At the museum, the LALIGA Genuine champions symbolically placed the trophy they won this past weekend in Bilbao—marking their place in the Submarine’s history in golden letters.
To round off a memorable day, Villarreal EDI enjoyed a celebratory lunch at the club’s own restaurant, El Ceramista.
