The U8s and U10s from the club won in the build-up to the tie with CD Leganés
The ‘3v3 Groguet’ tournament saw its ninth edition of the season, with U10s (benjamines) and U8s (prebenjamines) from CD Oliver, CD Cabanes and CE Vila d’Onda taking part. After a number of exciting ties, two teams from CD Oliver came out victorious.
The Cazorla team from CD Oliver’s U8s beat CD Cabanes’ Chukwueze team 3-2. The Cazorla team from CD Oliver were also the champions in the U10 competition, beating the Iborra team from CE Vila d’Onda 7-0.
The winners got to get a winners’ medal and the chance to get a photograph with the Villarreal starting XI before the match against Leganés.
Each edition will see a winner in each age group, and at the end of the season, there will be a final matchday with the winners from each edition, with the final of finals at half-time of a Villarreal CF men’s first-team match.
