The midfielder analysed his return to the pitch and the Submarine’s current form
Villarreal CF winger and Malaga native, Samu Castillejo, returned to the side last Sunday in the league match against FC Barcelona at home. The Yellow number 10 has recovered from an injury to the rectus femoris in his left leg which he picked up in the training session prior to the UEFA Europa League match against Slavia Prague at the Eden Arena (1st November). Just over a month later he returned to the pitch against no other than Barcelona in the league (10th December).
“I’ve finally recovered. When you’re out injured the weeks go by really slowly, but I’m back now and even a bit earlier than expected. Now I just need to get my match rhythm back”, Castillejo commented.
