Villarreal unveils new kit inspired by ceramics
Villarreal CF presents ‘Born from the Land’, their new Joma shirt for the 2024/25 season. With this kit, the Submarine aims to pay tribute to the ceramics industry, a symbol of the Yellow club and the entire province of Castellón.
On the shirt, the club once again maintains its iconic yellow colour. No other shade could adorn Villarreal CF’s first kit. This time, an elegant, sublimated design has been added, featuring subtle silhouettes throughout the fabric that reference the city’s and the club’s ceramic tradition, inseparably linked to Grupo Pamesa, their main sponsor.
Regarding its composition, the shirt is predominantly made from recycled polyester to minimise environmental impact. It is an eco-friendly fabric with a jacquard finish, featuring small perforations for extra breathability. The jersey also includes a knitted V-neck.
Additionally, the micro-mesh system technology has been incorporated throughout the garment. This innovation allows sweat to evaporate quickly, keeping the player’s body dry even during peak performance. Each piece is joined using flatlock stitching, which prevents chafing and provides elasticity and freedom of movement.
The Villarreal CF badge is made of heat-sealed silicone on the front to prevent skin irritation and maintain lightness. The Joma logo is embroidered on the top right and sleeves. Furthermore, the jersey has another small print of the club’s emblem on the upper back.
