The Villarreal head coach hailed his team’s great performance in the drubbing of Rapid Vienna
Villarreal manager Javi Calleja hailed the work of his side in the European tie against SK Rapid Vienna which ended up in a 5-0 victory for the Yellows. “It was very important to win and to do it like this. We now depend on ourselves. The team is hungry to win. We wanted to dedicate this victory to the fans,” he said.
For Calleja, the persistence of his team was fundamental to success. “At the beginning, we had very clear chances. What was most important was that we carried on going for goal and in the end, we scored lots. We are all very happy. We know that this is the path to follow.
