The Villarreal Manager stressed the “importance” of the victory over UD Las Palmas
The Villarreal CF Manager, Javi Calleja, praised his players’ hard work after the resounding win against UD Las Palmas: “I’m very happy. We had a great game. The team came out well and we created lots of goal scoring chances”.
For the Yellows boss, the Submarine clearly dominated the majority of the match, although he admitted that his players should have taken the lead in the first half. “We should have scored a goal in the first half, but every victory is difficult”, Calleja explained.
Lastly, the Submarine Manager stressed the importance of the win to establish themselves at the top of the table: “It was a very important to win today, we knew that. Now, our aim is to keep this positive dynamic going and try to keep picking up big results”.
