Villarreal CF manager Javi Calleja appeared ini front of the media to analyse the convincing win over Valencia CF (2-0): “It’s an excellent win. We showed character from the beginning. We’re feeling really good, as we had a lot of control. We interpreted the game very well and we managed the match really well too.”
The Yellows head coach was pleased to get a win in a derby against a direct rival: “I’m very happy. It’s been one of our best games. The win is important, but the run we’re on is more important. What’s more, we put a bit of a gap between us and Valencia, and we’re fighting for the same objectives.”
