The Villarreal forward scored and provided an assist in the Spain match
The six Villarreal internationals have now played the first match of the international break. Ayoze Pérez scored and provided an assist in Spain’s win over Denmark, a match in which Álex Baena also played. Yeremy Pino did not have any minutes in that game.
Logan Costa played 90 minutes of Cape Verde’s 1-1 draw against Egypt on the fifth game of qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations, while Pape Gueye also completed the 90 minutes of Senegal’s win over Burkina Faso (0-1).
Finally, Villarreal B goalkeeper Iker Álvarez played the entirety of Andorra’s loss to Moldova in the Nations League.
