The Granada-born defender will join the Portuguese side from the 2025/26 season
Villarreal CF and Gil Vicente FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Antonio Espigares, who will join the Portuguese side ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The central defender from Granada joined the Yellows Academy at a very young age, where he developed as a player before making the step up to Villarreal B, debuting in the Spanish Second Division during the 2023/24 season. This past campaign, he continued to play under Miguel Álvarez with the Mini Submarine.
