In this year’s edition, the world’s best U12 tournament, organised by LALIGA in collaboration with the José Ramón de la Morena Foundation and Villarreal CF, once again counts on the main sponsorship of ASCALE (Grupo Pamesa), with support from official sponsors EA Sports, Solán de Cabras, PUMA and Moeve.
The tournament gets underway this Thursday with an opening ceremony in which all 20 teams will parade on the pitch at La Cerámica. The event, starting at 7.30pm, will be free and open to families, friends and fans who want to attend.
The best U12 tournament in the world returns to Vila-real
The ASCALE LALIGA FC FUTURES National Tournament has established Vila-real as its regular venue, having been held in the town for the past eleven editions. Over the last three seasons, it has found a home in the impressive Estadio de la Cerámica, which was renovated in 2023. Before that, the PAMESA Training Ground and the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground also hosted the prestigious youth football tournament.
A major boost for the province
The ASCALE LALIGA FC FUTURES is one of the biggest drivers of the economy and tourism in the province during the month of June. More than 1,000 people – including players, coaches, families and staff – travel to Castellón to take part in the tournament, which has the backing of ASCALE, a local company, as the main sponsor.
As well as widespread media coverage across Spain, this sporting event generates hundreds of direct jobs and provides a significant economic boost for many local businesses.
