The Mini Submarine will play eight friendlies before the start of the league season
Villarreal B have finalised their pre-season schedule. The Mini Submarine will play eight friendly matches ahead of the start of the league campaign. The team will return from their summer break on 10th, 11th and 12th July for the usual medical tests prior to the start of training. The first training session under head coach David Albelda is set for 13th July.
The Yellows will have over a month and a half to prepare for their opening league fixture against AD Alcorcón, which will be played on the weekend of 31st August at the Mini Estadi at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground.
David Albelda’s side will play eight friendlies in total as part of their preparations for the new season:
- Villarreal B vs CD Castellón: Friday 25th July, 7:30pm CEST, at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground.
- Villarreal B vs Hércules CF: Wednesday 30th July, 10:30am CEST, in Campoamor. The Mini Submarine will hold a training camp in Campoamor (Orihuela) from 27th July to 2nd August.
- Albacete Balompié vs Villarreal B: Saturday 2nd August, 10:30am CEST, at the Andrés Iniesta Training Ground.
- CD Teruel vs Villarreal B: Wednesday 6th August (kick-off time TBC), at the Estadio Pinilla.
- Villarreal B v CD Guadalajara: Saturday 9th August, 6:30pm CEST, at the Mini Estadi at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground
- Villarreal B vs Club Gimnàstic de Tarragona: Wednesday 13th August, 7pm CEST, at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground.
- Villarreal B vs Valencia Mestalla: Saturday 16th August (kick-off time TBC), at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground.
- Villarreal B vs CD Eldense: Saturday 23rd August (kick-off time TBC), at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground.
