Villarreal CF and Leeds United have come to an agreement for the loan of Alfonso Pedraza, who will play for the English club until the end of the 2016/17 campaign. This season, Alfonso was playing on loan at Club Deportivo Lugo, with whom he played 22 matches in the Second Divsion A, scoring 6 goals and providing 8 assists. Leeds United play in the Championship (Second Division in England), currently fourth in the table with 51 points in 28 matches.
Alfonso Pedraza Sag (San Sebastián de los Ballesteros, Córdoba, Spain) joined Villarreal in the U16 age group and from that moment on his progress was rapid. After starting the 2014/15 campaign with the U19 A team in the División de Honor, the Andalusian winger was moved up to the Villarreal C team and then almost immediately to the Villarreal B team (43 matches, 7 goals). In April 2015 he made his debut for the First Team against Valencia.
