The young forward from Madrid strengthens the attacking options of David Albelda’s side
Villarreal CF have completed the signing of Álex Rubio, who will play for the Yellows’ B team for the next two seasons, until June 2027.
Álex Rubio Roldán (Colmenar de Oreja, Madrid, 25/07/02) is a versatile attacker who can feature either as a striker or on the wings. He has experience in Primera Federación with Antequera CF and Real Murcia CF. In the Spanish third tier, he has made a total of 46 appearances and scored ten goals.
The young Madrid-born forward becomes the ninth addition to the Mini Submarine, who have also brought in midfielders Cheikh Thiam and Pablo Pascual, defenders Eneko Ortiz, Isma Sierra, Lautaro Spatz and Iván Rodríguez, goalkeeper Yakiv Kinareikin, as well as striker Pablo Arenzana, who has gone out on loan to Girona B.
