The Villarreal B head coach has analysed their upcoming opponents, Juventud Torremolinos (Sunday, 12pm CET)
Villarreal B head coach David Albelda spoke to the media this Friday to look ahead to the match against Juventud Torremolinos, corresponding to Matchday 14 of Group 2 of Primera Federación, which will be played this Sunday at 12pm CET at Municipal El Pozuelo.
Albelda explained that although the league position could be better with “a little bit of luck”, the internal assessment is positive. “The feeling is good. When you analyse things you do not only look at the result because we are talking about a B team. There are other positive factors to consider. Of course you look at the table and perhaps we could be higher but above the results the feelings are good. Every match is a different story and a different context.”
Regarding the next game against the Andalusian side, the groguet coach stressed the difficulty of the match. “They are a team who are doing things very well. They have just been promoted and it will be a very tough match. The pitch has different dimensions and we will have to work very well defensively to take something positive. The results Torremolinos are getting increase the level of difficulty.”
Albelda also added. “I expect a tough match. Their results and momentum say so. But we go there with excitement, thinking that statistics are there to be broken. We have prepared for it and we are ready to compete and go for the win.”
