The Villarreal Ladies first-team player wins the U17 World Cup with Spain
A yellow world champion! The Villarreal Ladies first-team (Femenino A) player, Aixa Salvador, was crowned champion of the world yesterday with Spain U17s after beating Mexico by 2-1 in the final in Uruguay. Villarreal’s young prodigy came on in the 65th minute replacing teammate Salma Paralluelo.
With this title, the Castellón-born footballer sees a spectacular year come to a close, as she also won the U17 European Championships with Spain back in May.
