Villarreal B and the users of the CRIS la Vall centre had a great time getting to know each other a little better
Through the Endavant Igualtat initiative, Villarreal CF aims to support and give a voice to associations for social media purposes. A mutual benefit that serves for both parties to learn and join experiences that come out of the daily routine. The Villarreal B players and the members of CRIS la Vall are a good example of that. All of them have forged a friendship as a result of the different activities that they have carried out.
The last activity took place in the press room at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva). A very fun and special radio in which the players, coaches, and users of the CRIS la Vall centre had a great time getting to know each other a little better.
The abbreviation CRIS means Rehabilitation and Social Integration Centre, whereby their objective is purely social, not-for-profit. The centre is located in the city of La Vall d’Uixó, very close to Vila-real. The relationship between the Yellows footballers and the users of CRIS started several months ago, therefore the trust and link between both parties is very close.
The Yellows players got to know their CRIS friends personally and shared experiences. One of the most powerful cases was that of Manuel Forner, who worked as a teacher at IES Miralcamp, a centre associated with Villarreal CF, but due to stress he had to leave his position. A story that helped the Villarreal B players become aware of what life is like and that despite the setbacks we have to keep fighting.
In addition, they also got to know the personal and individual interests of the CRIS users. What their favourite activity and food are, their hobbies and what their day to day life is like.
Both the users of CRIS la Vall and the Villarreal B players had a wonderful afternoon and shared laughter and happiness. A bond that has been strengthened over time and that surely with the activities that take place will continue to grow. The Endavant Igualtat initiative continues to bring joy.
