More than 20 events hosted at the Estadio de la Cerámica during the summer break
The absence of official competition hasn’t stopped the Estadio de la Cerámica from remaining fully active. Since the end of the season, the home of Villarreal CF has hosted a wide variety of events, celebrations, and corporate activities, making the most of its transformation into a state-of-the-art multifunctional venue.
Following its full renovation, the stadium has become much more than a football ground—it’s now a vibrant hub for everything from team-building events to major festivities like the club’s popular Fan Festival.
This transformation was central to Fernando Roig’s vision when he launched the ambitious redevelopment project. His goal was not only to create one of the best stadiums in Spanish football, but also to establish a versatile space with a life of its own, capable of hosting large-scale events and private functions alike.
A multifunctional venue with dining, culture and corporate space
One of the key innovations in this new phase has been the addition of three restaurants inside the stadium: El Ceramista, El Vasco, and El Córner—each offering a distinct culinary experience.
Another major asset is Inmersión Villarreal, a state-of-the-art interactive museum designed in collaboration with Mediapro Exhibitions. Located in the South Stand, it allows thousands of visitors to explore the club’s identity, values, and history in an immersive format.
From football tournaments to corporate events
Since the final home match against Sevilla FC on 25 May, the Estadio de la Cerámica has already hosted—or is scheduled to host—a total of 22 events. These include:
- Youth tournaments like LALIGA FC Futures and the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer
- The Fan Festival, which also included the Celtic Submarí Charity Race
- The Employee Party, as well as corporate gatherings and internal tournaments with companies such as CaixaBank, Ascale, and Altadia
The pitch itself has been used for these events, while exclusive areas like the Super Tribuna, Lower Main Stand, and the prestigious Club 1923 have hosted private dinners, awards ceremonies, and conferences.
The press room has also played a key role, serving as the venue for LALIGA masterclasses, academy award ceremonies, and more.
