Dani Parejo continues to make history in LALIGA EA Sports. The Yellow Submarine midfielder has reached 550 official matches in the First Division after Villarreal CF’s league encounter against Real Sociedad.
Following the match at La Cerámica, the player from Coslada has broken into the top five footballers with the most appearances in the history of Spain’s top flight, drawing level with another legend, Raúl González. Above Parejo are only Antoine Griezmann, Raúl García, Andoni Zubizarreta and Joaquín Sánchez, who leads the ranking with 622 appearances.
Of those 550 matches, Dani Parejo has played 199 with Villarreal CF in the First Division. The rest came during his spells at Valencia CF, Getafe CF and Real Madrid.
Across his entire career, Dani Parejo has played more than 800 matches as a professional footballer in all competitions. Of those, 262 have been as a Villarreal CF player.
