Villarreal CF are ready to take on the UEFA Youth League round of 32, which will be played in a single‑leg tie this Wednesday at 4pm CET at the Mini Estadi at the Training Ground. Admission to the match is free for Villarreal CF season-ticket holders and it will be broadcast live on Movistar+ in Spain.
The Yellows, coached by Villarreal legend Pepe Reina, completed their final training session on Tuesday ahead of the continental youth showdown, doing so at the venue of the match.
An almost perfect qualification stage
Villarreal CF finished fifth in the league phase of the UEFA Youth League. The Yellows won five of their six matches against Juventus, Manchester City, Pafos, Borussia Dortmund and Ajax. Their only defeat came in the opening match away to Tottenham.
Thanks to that impressive qualifying campaign, the Yellows earned the right to play at home against the German side.
