    Santi Comesaña reaches 100 for Villarreal

    The Galician midfielder has reached 100 official appearances for Villarreal

    Santi Comesaña has now reached a century of matches for Villarreal. The Galician midfielder made his 100th official appearance wearing the Submarine shirt in the match against Real Betis (2-0), corresponding to Matchday 20 of LALIGA EA Sports, played at La Cartuja.

    The Yellow No.14 confirms his centenary status after having played 80 matches in LALIGA EA Sports, seven in the Copa del Rey, seven in the Europa League and six in the Champions League.

    Comesaña is the fifth player in the current squad to surpass 100 matches for Villarreal, only behind Gerard Moreno (308), Dani Parejo (252), Alfonso Pedraza (222) and Juan Foyth (152).
