The Ivorian defender will remain linked to Villarreal until June 2030
Villarreal CF has reached a renewal agreement with Jean Ives Valou. The young defender, who was under contract until 2028, extends his commitment to the Submarine by two more seasons, until June 2030.
Jean Ives Valou (Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, 22/12/2005) is a left-footed centre-back who stands out for his physical strength, anticipation and solidity in defensive duels. The young African defender joined the Yellows Academy in 2024 from the Étoiles du Mandé academy.
Since then, Valou has established himself as one of Villarreal B’s most important defenders, even making his debut last season with the first team in the match against UD Poblense in the first round of the Copa del Rey.
