The Valencian midfielder extends her contract with the Villarreal CF until June 2027
Villarreal CF and Sara Medina have reached an agreement to renew the Valencian footballer’s contract, ensuring she will continue to wear the Villarreal shirt until 30th June 2027.
Sara Medina Hidalgo (08/08/1998, Valencia) is enjoying her second spell at the club, having returned to the Yellow Submarine for the current 2025/26 season. It is worth noting that Sara previously represented Villarreal Women from the 2019/20 to the 2021/22 campaigns, playing a key role in the historic promotion to the top tier.
This season, the Valencia-born midfielder—renowned for her vision and technical quality—has featured in 13 matches and scored two goals in Primera Federación Femenina.
