In search of a perfect start
David Cifuentes’ new Villarreal C side will officially kick off the season against Recambios Colón on Matchday 1 of the competition, to be played at the Mini Estadi in the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground.
The young squad will look to improve on the fantastic season they had last year under David Albelda, when the team came close to reaching the promotion play-offs to Segunda Federación.
For this campaign, the club has rejuvenated the squad by bringing in many players from last season’s Juvenil A (U19s) side — young talents who will now experience their first steps into amateur football.
