The Yellow Submarine and Real Oviedo have reached an agreement for the transfer of the young midfielder from Jerez
Villarreal CF and Real Oviedo have reached an agreement for the transfer of Curro Muñoz, who will join the Yellow reserve team ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Francisco de Asís Muñoz Verano (Jerez de la Frontera, 07/01/2003) is a young and versatile holding midfielder who can also play as a centre-back. He already has experience in the Primera Federación with SD Logroñés and in the Segunda Federación, where he represented Salamanca CF UDS and Cádiz CF Mirandilla.
The Andalusian midfielder becomes Villarreal B’s tenth signing of the summer, joining fellow midfielders Cheikh Thiam and Pablo Pascual; defenders Eneko Ortiz, Isma Sierra, Lautaro Spatz and Iván Rodríguez; goalkeeper Yakiv Kinareikin; and forwards Álex Rubio and Pablo Arenzana, although the latter has since moved on loan to Girona B.
