Villarreal CF held their traditional offering to the patron saints of Vila-real this Tuesday — an act of faith that the club carries out religiously before the start of every season.
As in previous years, Villarreal CF president Fernando Roig and the club’s CEO Fernando Roig Negueroles led the Groguet delegation, which included members of the board of directors, first-team players and the Villarreal CF coaching staff.
Accompanied by the mayor of the city, José Benlloch, they first paid their respects at the Mare de Déu de Gràcia hermitage before concluding the offering at the Basilica of Sant Pasqual.
