Medical tests have confirmed that Villarreal CF defender Logan Costa has suffered a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee. The Cape Verde international sustained the injury on Saturday 19th July during the Submarine’s first pre-season fixture against FC Basel.
The club will provide further information regarding the player’s upcoming surgery in due course.
