The club is now preparing the pitch for the 2025/26 season
Villarreal CF have started work on changing the turf at the Estadio de la Cerámica. The Yellows are laying a new pitch ahead of the start of the 2025/26 season. The new carpet will make its debut against Aston Villa FC, at the Trofeo de la Cerámica (10th August, 9pm CEST), and in an official match against Real Oviedo (15th August, 9:30pm CEST).
The previous pitch at the Estadio de la Cerámica, after the end of the season, hosted LALIGA FC Futures, the Fan Fest, the Yellow Cup Summer, the Villarreal Academy Cup, the Staff Festival, the Villarreal CF Pro Camp and the Estadio de la Cerámica Camp. The club’s official sponsors also enjoyed time on the pitch with tournaments among their staff, as well as events and dinners on the pitch.
