The top scorer of the 2024/25 season signs on until 2026
Villarreal CF and Aixa Salvador have reached an agreement for the Castellón-born forward to continue wearing the yellow shirt next season, with her contract now running until 30 June 2026.
Aixa Salvador García (12 October 2001, Castellón) came through the Yellows Academy, playing for Villarreal from the 2011/12 to the 2018/19 seasons. After a brief spell with Real Betis, the striker returned to Villarreal Women to strengthen the team ahead of their debut campaign in the top flight.
She is currently in her third stint with the club. In the most recent season, Aixa played 24 league matches and finished as the team’s top scorer, netting eight goals in the league and one more in the Copa de la Reina.
Aixa Salvador becomes the ninth confirmed Villarreal Women player for the 2025/26 season. She joins Lauris Rodríguez (recently renewed), Lucía Gómez, Irene Miguélez, Alexia Jr., María Romero, Lucía Romero, Claudia Enseñat and Luna González (all under contract).
