Seven Yellows players called up for international duty
Yeremy Pino and Álex Baena (Spain), Juan Foyth (Argentina), Pepe Gueye (Senegal), Nicolas Pépé (Ivory Coast), Tajon Buchanan (Canada) and Thierno Barry (France) have all received international call-ups and will represent their national teams during the first week of June.
Yeremy and Baena will take on France this Thursday in Stuttgart (Germany) in the UEFA Nations League semi-final, with a place in the final at stake.
Juan Foyth is back with the Argentina squad and will face Chile and Colombia in two FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Nicolas Pépé will represent Ivory Coast in two friendlies against New Zealand and Canada, while Pepe Gueye is set to take on Ireland and England during a short European tour.
Tajon Buchanan is also in action, with Canada facing Ukraine and Ivory Coast in two international friendlies.
Thierno Barry, meanwhile, has joined up with the France U21s for the U21 European Championship.
Franco-Cape Verdean defender Logan Costa had also been called up, but withdrew due to injury.
